Everything. The lovely couple who run it made me and my friends feel so welcome, they came out to meet us and were happy to nip us about instead of us using cabs. We were really worried when we lost the keys but they were so nice about it. We were in the area for a local festival but there is some beautiful countryside and some great proper pubs around Ibstock and Heather. The house and rooms are lovely and comfy and have all the little extra touches. Breakfast was amazing. We were so well looked after and didn't want to leave!

A friendly welcome from both of the owners who came out to meet us as we got out of the car. Offered to carry our bags and even made us a fresh pot of tea. Fantastic personal touches which made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless and furnished to a very high standard.Bath and shower excellent and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fab. We cant wait to go back !!

Small family run b&b, really nice, clean and comfortable. Pricless treatment and hospitality. Great quality English breakfast, although you can ask for other options. The master double en-suite room is really lovely. Ideal for relax get aways (family, couple or single) or business. In the heart of the National Forest. Very good value for money.
Nothing really. Only to note that, if I'm not wrong, all the rooms are upstairs (no lift) so that may not be suitable for everyone.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the towels were luxurious.
The room only had a small Analogue tv with a poor reception

The friendly welcome despite the rain lashing down. A welcoming cup of tea made by the owners The place was immaculate. Efficient signing in and key hand out. The rooms were warm and beautifully appointed with good facilities. The breakfast was very generous.
I personally prefer to sit at a small table to eat rather than everyone eating at the same table. But this is really a minor personal preference.

Greeted warmly by susan and her husband, we loved how spacious and clean our king room was. The chocolates and bottled water. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, one of the highlights of our visit.

Very warm welcome, lovely, clean warm room, huge fluffy white towels (always a plus). Usually stay in big chain hotels so it was a pleasant change to have breakfast cooked fresh instead of from a buffet!
